Helping Pet's Live Life
To The Fullest.
Typical exams include your pet’s vaccine boosters, a fecal test to check for intestinal parasites, and a heartworm test (for dogs) or feline FIV/Felv test (for outdoor cats) to spot potential problems before they become serious.
If you choose to go elsewhere for vaccinations, an exam is still required every 12 months to keep your pet current with our hospital and eligible to use our services.
Your vet will look at the teeth and oral cavity, eyes and ears, listen to the heart and lungs, palpate the abdomen, and check the skin and body including hip and shoulder flexibility. If your pet is over the age of six (6), our doctors may recommend baseline blood work to ensure your pet doesn’t have an underlying condition.
Bringing your cat or dog to the doctor every year for a checkup is one of the most effective ways to ensure your pet’s ongoing health.
